You Are Stronger Than You Think
If you want to see a change, you have to be the change. Do not expect someone else to help get you there, get there yourself. Refuse to be the victim they want you to be, you are a powerful woman, be confident in your abilities and if you do not like what you see, change it.
- In 2018, an estimated 734,630 people said that they were sexually harassed.
- Sixty six percent of adolescent victims did not tell a parent or any other adult about the assault.
- Only 19 percent of victims reported the assault to the police.
Change starts with you
Once you have completed an item, check it off your list!
- Talk to other girls, see how much of a problem this is.
- Once you identified this problem, report it to your school official.
- Talk to the principle about next steps, hold assemblies, workshops, etc.
- Raise awareness, start your own club.
- Never stop fighting the good fight.
